The Families Centre is a valuable Resource Centre for the Royal Navy / Royal Marines and their families and the local community. It is approximately seven miles from HM Naval Base Clyde, Faslane, and is open Monday - Thursday 0830 - 1630 and Friday 0830 - 1600.

Facilities available at the Families Centre include, large air-conditioned hall ideal for groups and coffee mornings, a crèche and a health visitor's baby clinic are also available.

The Centre incorporates the Naval Personal & Family Service and Royal Marine Welfare (NPFS/RMW) Community Team, Advice Service, RNCom Development Worker and the NPFS HIVE Information Centre.
