The Short Term Housing Scheme exists in principle to alleviate separation. Family quarters fully equipped with TV/DVD, microwave, duvets, linen etc. Used for short stays by service personnel, ex service personnel and MOD civilians and their families, for minimum stays of two nights to maximum stays of six months

Gosport - St Nicholas Avenue A two-bedroom flat has a double and a twin bedroom (sleeping four) a lounge/diner, kitchen and bathroom, most with showers. A three-bedroom house has a double, twin and single bedroom (sleeping five), a lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, with shower, and 2 WC's. All STFA properties have a garden and there is parking on site. Some baby furniture and foldaway beds are available, free of charge, on request. |

STFA is well placed as a base to make visits to Dartmoor National Park, East Cornwall and - further afield - to Truro, Newquay, Torbay and Exeter.
Helensburgh
STFA is well placed, being only a few miles from the shores of Loch Lomond within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The area has much to keep you entertained with high quality Golf Clubs, fishing, climbing, hill-walking and shopping and exciting places to visit including, Charles Rennie Macintosh’s Hill House, the Waverley Paddle Steamer, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Fort William, Scotland’s M&D Theme Park at Strathclyde Park near Glasgow and Blair Drummond Safari Park near Stirling.
