Salary and Allowances

If you believe there is a problem with your pay, if you require assistance or information regarding Pay, Pensions, Allowances or Pensions your first point of contact should be your Unit Personnel Office, the Joint Personnel Administrative Centre (JPAC) or the Service Personnel and Veterans Agency (SPVA).

Royal Navy and Royal Marines Pay

The level of pay paid to Royal Navy personnel is based on their specialisation, rank and length of service. Remember that the Royal Navy employs the serviceman or woman, not their partners or spouses, so pay slips will not be sent to partners/spouses nor will details of personal pay or allowances be given to anyone other than the Service person.

Allowances

Allowances are not designed for profit or as "perks", nor are they to increase pay by "other" means but are to make sure that Service personnel get extra money, which their salary doesn't cover it.
