Apprenticeships
The Royal Navy is a highly technical organisation and, just as in the civilian world, we need you to learn about designing, building and maintaining complex machinery, for the RN these are warships, aircraft and submarines. A modern warship relies heavily on computer systems and needs to be able to communicate across the world. We need IT trained personnel who understand how to operate and keep these systems operating. Information and Communication Technology Apprenticeships are available for Communication and Information Systems Specialists, and Communications Technicians A warship is wholly self-contained when deployed at sea
and this requires the crew to be supplied, fed and catered for, across a number of hospitality areas, sometimes in a challenging and different environment. Retail and Commercial Enterprise Apprenticeships are available for Stewards, Chefs and Supply Chain Logisticians Teamwork and fitness are key to ensuring a military unit is effective, and the skills you develop during training will equip you to work well in any environment.
