The recreational facilities within the Royal Navy/ Royal Marines are second to none. If you excel in a particular sport you will be given all the support you need to take it to the next level.
Sport and Adventure Training
Your Weekly Schedule:
Wednesday afternoons are dedicated to sport. This is a chance to let off some steam on the sports field or take part in one of the many activities on offer to you on a weekly basis. The Royal Marines Band Service has its very own physical training staff, dedicated to helping you achieve your physical goals.
Training Further Afield:
Each year you will have the opportunity to go away adventure training for up to ten days. This gives you the chance to try out pursuits such as sailing, canoeing, climbing, skiing and diving. This week also enables you to socialise with your instructors in less formal surroundings and gives you a well-earned rest from practice and study. You will also have the opportunity to take part in exciting expeditions throughout your career, with the ability to gain civilian adventure training qualifications in various activities. The only limit to your achievements is you! Find out more
