Putting your Skills to Good Use

There can come a time in your career when you need a new challenge or just a change from the usual routine. By joining the Royal Naval Reserve you can put your skills and knowledge to the best possible use, without giving up the career you love.

Reasons to Join:

Join the Royal Naval Reserve as a nurse, doctor, chaplain or a current or former Merchant Navy Officer and your skills will flourish. As well as undertaking your usual daily job, you’ll get to work in a completely different environment that may turn out to be even more rewarding.

What You'll do as a Reservist

As an RNR with a specialist skill, you’ll support the Royal Navy in its peacetime, military and humanitarian operations, which involves visiting new places and experiencing things you never would in your day-to-day life.
