If you have 180 UCAS points or more and a degree in Engineering, Nursing, Medicine or Theology, you’re eligible to become an officer in your specialist field within the Royal Navy. You will be able to put your skills to great use in all manner of ways.
Specialist Degrees
Here’s what you can expect, depending on your degree:
Engineering:
• Starting salary of £24,615
• A one-off £27,000 joining bonus paid to all Engineer Officers and Training Management Officers
• £5000 "Golden Hello" for Submariners awarded on completion of submarine specialist training
• Additional specialist pay for qualified Submariners: £12.12 to £26.66 per day
