As an Officer, your training (which continues throughout your career) will equip you for the huge range of opportunities and challenges ahead. In many respects, it’s just like managing a team in any other large organisation. You’ll be providing leadership, inspiration and direction, monitoring performance, taking responsibility for people’s training and development, dealing with employment issues, and providing practical and emotional support when times get tough.

With more than 180 UCAS points you can expect:
• A starting salary of £24,615
• A one-off joining bonus of £27,000 for Engineer Officers and Training Management Officers
• Further specialist pay awarded to Submariners, sub-specialisations of the Warfare Branch e.g. Mine Clearance Diving Officer, Aircrew and certain other specialist roles on completion of training
