Medical Technician (Radiographer)

As a radiographer in the Royal Navy, you'll be a vital member of the team, just as you would be in any well-equipped civilian hospital. The difference is that you'll be seeming your patients both on shore and at sea, providing medical support to Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel in the UK and around the world. As part of your training, you'll work at sea within the 100-bedded primary casualty receiving facility (PCRF) on board RFA Argus. You will also train as part of a surgical team on ships and on land, developing the skills you'll need to work in hostile environments. In peacetime, you'll work in MOD hospital units such as Plymouth and Birmingham.
