Communications and Information Systems (CIS) Specialist (Submariner)

As a Communications and Information Systems (CIS) Specialist (Submariner) you’ll be a central member of the submarine’s Warfare branch. Using highly sensitive radio and satellite systems, you’ll send and receive vital messages from the shore, ships and other ‘friendly’ subs. Those messages will often contain orders and other information for those in command. And, as you’re part of a covert operation, a lot of it will be classified ‘top secret’. Whether you’re on routine surveillance or going into action, you’ll be part of a tight-knit team on board one of the most formidable fighting machines in the Royal Navy.
