The single focus of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity is to provide support to the entire Naval family. It aims to help those who are in need or who are suffering hardship; assist with the education of their children; and boost the morale and wellbeing of serving personnel.
Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity
The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) is a grant-making charity, and money donated is filtered into the charities that the RNRMC supports. These charities fall into five areas: Benevolence, Amenities, Dependants, Sports and Prizes.
The RNRMC always pays out the grant to dependants on death in service, and increases the amount to benevolence causes and charities as the area identified to be of greatest need. It works in close collaboration with the independent charities whose mission is to provide direct support to individuals in need.
